alright guys just to let you know i have searched and found that possible reasons for my ka-t to be back fireing hesitating on accelaration or when boost hits could be as follows from threads ive read on here: sparkplug wires, spark plug gap, boost leak, intercooler piping loose, or a thrashed maf, now before i go check on all theese thing is there anything else it could be and no the car doas not overheat at all,

I had the same problem, like it was kicking.

Switched my spark plugs to 7 with lower gap and problem fixed.

I went one colder to 7, # BKR7E. I think I set my gap to .28

I could only find mine at a motorcycle shop, after checking 4 auto part stores

Here is a good thread: zerothread?id=319218

Is it safe the have the battery connected AND the radio on (power flowing) while hooking a safc up?

you sir are in fact, hilarious

Stay away from MS if your not a fan of wires.

You still have a wiring issue from the sound of it.

A bad fuel pump could cause the car to stutter yes.

What spark plug gap are you running? It's a very common problem for newly turbo'd cars as many first time turboers don't truly realize that the increased pressure increases the resistance across the plug gap. It's the first thing i always recommend in this case for this reason and the fact that it's virtually free to check.

no the car ran good with the sparkplugs that where being used it just started stuttering and back fireng and hesitating when boost would kick in...i was told fuel pump i hope thats all it is...and sometimes the car would stall out and all i would have to do is unplug the fual injecters crank the motor over for 3 seconds the plug them back in and it would start every time.

I had similar problem, the first thing was when i went into boost it seemed like it was boost leak and starts hesitating. put in new injectors and ran great, next thing was that it wouldnt start up sometime. i unplugged one of my fuel line to make sure the fuel pump was working, it shot out gas fine and after that it started up fine. i found out that my fuel pressure regulator went bad causing me to stall and giving me hard time to start up. dont step on the gas pedal and try starting up. i say if you havent check these things then do so. hopefully this helps

I had the same problem when I first went turboed. It sounds like you have a boost leak. Just make a boost leak tester and you'll be golden. If that dont work check the gap on your plugs.
