KA-T for my E

i have been shoping ebay and other online tuning "shops" and i have found hardly anything for the e but loads for the de but my main thing right now is.... will a de exhaust manifold..(for a turbo) bolt onto a E head?

Please reply... there is a kit on ebay for cheap

no the de manifold wont work for the e. the kit u are looking on ebay is probably the ssautochrom kit some hate it some say its not bad. if you are looking for a turbo setup for your kae then u might want to check ka-t.org they have a whole section dedicated to the SOHC ka24e-t. also find jordan gladman over there he makes custom mani's for the SOHC thats where i got mine from.

I also have a gladman manifold. It did require some time under a die grinder, but overall very good in terms of value.

This manifold is a good design but interferes with the AC compressor and has poor craftsmanship.

and whats the poor craftmanship you are talking about? not being rude i just want your explination on whats the cons of it?

The one I received had miss aligned tubes to ports. The tubes were not butted to the flange and to one another correctly which left gaps inside. Poor welds full of gas pockets. There were also holes burnt through the tubing and filled with weld. I spent probably 8 hours fixing this manifold by grinding, welding, and machining the mating surfaces flat again.
