So, after a lot more work than I expected, my ka24de is boosted. Not the best setup, but probably not the worst. Got about $500 into it. Rebuilt t25 from sr20, 370cc injectors, ebay mani, stock sr sidemount, sr down pipe, n60 maf, and an emance tune. which i will never deal with emance again since I purchased the data cable also and never received and jason wont send it. well anyways it runs awesome except every once in awhile it will idle a little funny ( any advice on this would be great) It will idle high then almost die, but not always. Other than that issue it runs great...can't wait to take it to an auto x or drift event. Also lookin for a fmic setup if anybodies selling one

congrats. also got emance but my basemap is good according to my wideband. also have the idle issue but mine is really rich at idle. maybe from the exhaust leak from the cheap ebay manifold lol

Yea E-Mance used to be good then his customer service and tunes went to s***. It is also rich probably because he was generous with the fuel so he didn't blow your engine. Just a guess tho.

AWESOME MAN, Congrats

similar setup except ebay front mount, hks ssqv, n62 maf and 610cc scooby injectors.

mine also idles a little funny, sometimes but could be a bunch of other things, vent to air blow off, spark plugs(bosch platinums). vac leaks.

runs great, pulls hard(better than stock na)afrs are 14.7 cruise, idle some times 14, sometimes 17. boosts about 8psi on gauge, 10.5-11 afr.

an ebay frount mount is good enough unless u get a good deal on a branded one. i know mine is good coz my water temps drop if i boost for a while....

i should check temps of air in and air out. someday.

do u have a wideband? if not get that first.also do a boost leak test, major issues of afrs is that.

i got a twintec, which i bought a few years ago, just started using it now. its ok, but has no backlight so i am screwed in the night time...lol. i am gonna look for another soon too, and this time i will get one which uses the cheaper bosch sensors and not the ntk sensors(pricey to replace).i think now most of the widebands are bosch sensors, not many use the ntk for the price. i'd say get the wideband first then anything else, coz its really important to keep an eye on afrs, a few minutes lean and you are on your way to collecting parts for a motor. front mount inctecoolers arent really expensive, jsut invest in a good one both front mount and wideband.
