Hey all. I've been flipping back and forth on what motor to choose for a long time now, and finally set on a kadet. I picked up my motor today, and began the tear down. The motor is going to get a fresh stock rebuild, with a forged bottom end, and a tomei headgasket. I'm aiming for 300hp to start, but i want to have room for growth. My parts list is as follows:

- Garret t3/t4 50 trim- tial 38mm wastegate- 370cc SR injectors (for now)- JGS turbo manifold (still undecided on this)- HKS SSQV bov- SSAC Intercooler- Custom I/C piping- Custom downpipe- M-300 Wideband- Apexi SAFC- Manual boost control- SPEC stage 3 clutch- Buddyclub spec 2 exhaust

Thats the plan for now. ill post pics as i go. Opinions/Suggestions welcome

Tomei makes a KA gasket? I guess it is true what they say, you learn something new every day.

Why not Cometic?

You are gonna need bigger injectors and a different MAFS if you want to get to 300+

Yea start with 550 cc injectors if you want to get to the 300 hp range. This will give you room to grow to, and ontop of the 300.
