The valve cover vent hose, where does it go? Please don't tell me to the intake pipe pre-turbo.

The BOV looks like it's already in place. You just need to source vacuum from the intake manifold. I always used the FPR vacuum line myself.

The catch can goes between the valve cover and whatever you have the line hooked to, like the intake manifold or pre-turbo.

IMHO the vc vent should go to pre turbo. When my vc vent was tied into my catch can it would hold vacuum in the motor when off and you could hear it squeal passed the front/rear main seals. :x

BOV ties into manifold so it can have vac and boost.

Right, but there has to be a catch can/oil separator if you're going to run it pre-turbo. Else you're just filling your intercooler pipes with soot. I don't see a catch can in his setup.

i have a oil catch can next to the passenger side strut tower behind the coolant

so if i have this right

1. the bov i could tie in to the FPR vacuum line as well as a boost gauge correct?

2. oil catch can goes

PCV valve>>>>>>>oil catch can (& the other line) oil catch can>>>>>>>valve cover >>>>>>>pre turbo intake

is this correct?

3. also the actuator on the turbo can i tie that into the FPR as well?

in my setup I dont need anything on the vc as the crank case gets manifold vac, after a few weeks with a can installed on the vc it had 0 in it, the line even now after 5k ish is clear and has no yellowing, the pcv side with can on the other hand is full of shiz :)

3 waste gate arm gets boost only ,use a nipple on the compressor housing or shortly after the compressor outlet

2 depends on you! a lot of debate here.. I have mine pcv box---catch can---check valve---manifold / vc---pre turbo/

1 no more than 2 items per vac source please:P I tie my gauge into brake booster I saw little change in gauge reading with it on either. fpr/bov booster/gauge

Tell us how its setup, looks like pcv---can---vc---T---pre turbo? Not THE BEST but works.

Never seen the bov ran off the break booster but it might work. An the vc should run stright to the catch can the pre turbo. So theres no need for the t spot.

Ok the actuator for the turbo needs to go on your hot pipe. You know the one that comes off the turbo an goes to the ic, put it like 6" frome turbo and as for the bov i tryed those lines when i did my frist motor an it didnt work. I used the small line commine of the back out side bottom of the intake. There is one inside the intake to but its real hard to get to and find.

Ok look where the break booster hooks up cause its right next to it. An yeah you can run your actuator right off your turbo to if you have that spot. Most turbos dont though. You dont want to put it any farther then like 12" fron the turbo cause it can make the actuator lag. This would cause boost spike an make it harder to adjust. I have tryed it.

manifold(before check valve)===T===brake booster/boost gauge

compressor housing nipple or hot pipe right after compressor outlet====waste gate.

Now i have to ask idk but wouldnt you wat the catch can to go on the line comming off the vc seeing that the turbo is going to suck from the in witch pulling oil out of it an running it into the ic piping? I thought that was the point if the catch can was to catch the oil the turbo will pull out of the vc

ok so the waste gate is tied into the hot pipe

the boost gauge is T'd into the fuel pressure regulator with an inline filter

and the oil catch can i was thinking just to put a filter on the VC then run it like this

PCV------OIL CATCH CAN &&&&& other OIL CATCH CAN NIPPLE--------pre trubo would this work?

i should be starting my car soon
