Welcome to NICO!

A good place to start would be our sponsor IAP.http://www.import-autoperformance.com/

Even with your NICO discount, their kit will run you more than $3000. But at least you'll learn what you need to setup a KA-T.

You probably dont NEED a rebuild for 300whp, but if you can spend the money, its added piece of mind.

You can piece a kit together yourself for about $3000. Take some time and look around. You'll see plenty of options to consider. Also, be sure to check out the KA-T FAQ at the top of the forum. It has tons of good info to get you started.

Here's a parts list I made a few years ago. Hope this helps...

Does IAP still give a NICO discount? If so, how much?I'm asking because I know a while back they did, but I wasn't ready to buy. Now I can't find whether they still sponsor NICO or not. Thanks,Alex

^ Doh! You guys are right. I forgot that turbo240 sponsors this forum now. Theyre still working on a KA turbo kit. It should be worth the wait...

It's actually only 26,502. I noticed yesterday that I typed it wrong.....oops!

Does anyone know how long before AMS/turbo240 finishes their kit? I was gonna go with JGS' kit, but it's ~a 4week wait at this point. I want to get it done before another semester of school starts back up. I guess I'll have to piece one together.......

JGS has a really good kit. I think its the best deal going right now. j-z installed his a few weeks ago. Just catch 'em soon. The price has been going up lately...

And there is a fairy good wait, I ordered mine alittle over 3 weeks ago and its still in production, Hopefully it gets done next week since I'm really excited about going boost!

As for a setup I've spent around $3k on parts not counting install cost. There are people who have built for less but I want a reliable setup with good power. I'm shooting for 230rwhp but could easily get 350rwhp.

Some advice would be do your research before buying parts, research about boosting KA's, and a good trusted shop!

Good luck!
