duron - boost was hitting 25psi going down to about 21psi then chilling at about 22-23psi. i might replace my turbo xs mbc with an apexi avc-r, first i want to test for boost leaks.

ryan- plug gap is at .025. i didnt notice any problems at the track except a slightly flat spot for a split second in second gear i think on that last run. on the way home tho i did feel minor blow out when it spiked to 25psi but was fine when it went back to 22-23psi

97ka-t - it was actually a newer supercharged buick sedan

nismo freak - i just ordered soild ground zero motor/transmission mounts from rick. my nismos are showing a little wear to say the leasdt

Nice... its like King Da Ka at six Flags but your car is the water down version of the ride going from 0-124mph in 11secs opposed to the 0-124mph in 3 seconds.

That's gotta be one HELL of a ride! Best I've done is Busch Garden's Apollo's Chariot.. Something like a 230ft drop.. Awesome stuff they got there. Alpengeist is my fav. though

Also, supercharged Buick.. Pretty quick!

anthony i was just browsing through a road and track mag and i saw in the 1/4 mile data they had.

a mac laren F1 traps at 125mph and runs a 11.6

anthony traps at 124.3 and runs a 11.9 ( soon to be beaten again next week )

how does it feel to have your car being as fast as a maclaren f1?

Anthony- Nice work man! Thats such a sweet ride. They are surely going to boot ya off the track this week. Our track here in Cincy booted me off when I hit 11.93 once. The guy came out yelling at me about a cage, so we turned it up another notch on the E01 and ran a 11.21 and he rapidly told me to get my a** off the track. Its a very rewarding experience, so relish it

The other rewarding part is all the V8 guys coming up and throwing a tissie because its a 4 cylinder and they tune and tune and tune to get those old big blocks to break 12s.

Again, congrats man lets see those vids of you and Geo's cars!

Dude that's tits as hell that your into the 11's, And I too love it when guys who are all about the old school V8 power get all pumped when you pop your hood and there sits that hairdryer pissing em off that your pulling out some nice #'s out of it and still getting decent gas mileage, since there mostly process engineers they give it mad props and understand what it takes to get serious HP/TQ out of a 4 cylinder, the best I've ever felt about my car was when some guy I work with did a frame up factory5 cobra replica build that's not quite done yet (still needs paint and a few lil things but is drive-able) but still don't hold a candle to his strictly drag mustang (67' if I recall correctly) that runs low 10's , and will probably be in the high 9's soon, anyways for him to say my car is one of the better cars he'd seen, and stated that was slightly jealous of the lil 4 banger scene cuz of the ability to get decent power yet still be able to be driven on a daily basis. I can't wait till I can get kicked out of a track for being to fast I'll cherish that day forever great job again, gives me some thing to shoot for.....Peace, Pat

BTW do you know anything about the Buick you ran that sounds like a one off project kinda curious to know about it.

yup anthony was definitly trapping higher or as high as some of hte trailered cars that night. there was this one trailered nova that only trapped at 106mph but ran a low 12 ( got traction ? ) and he was matching the trap speeds of some of the 600cc bikes. the only import that was faster then anthony that night was this black RX-7 TT that trapped 130mph and ran low 11's.

i was wondering what that kid did that night off those et streets. a couple weeks ago with the street bfg drag radials on 18" volks he was running 11.6's. he gets his car worked on at a shop right near where i do all my work. ill be catching him definitly

btw it was a single turbo rx7 obviously something like a t-67 or t-78

I'd say T78. I had a T78 on my spare 13B when I had my '93 FD, and the expected horsepower was in the 400's. But yeah, a T67 might do the job too.. 11's for a FD isn't out of the question with that turboToo bad I wasn't completely loaded at the time or that FD would be seeing a 20B Cosmo 3-Rotor engine Just like the Pettit TKT (Turn Key Terror )

Id guess T-78 or T66/T67/T70, haha

Back when I haad my 93 RX-7 (sold it last year) the car on stock turbos did 370rwhp/304rwtq @ 15lbs, STOCK INTERCOOLER. I have dyno sheets and all neoamd is my name on RX7club.com

I would have went with a T-70 and a half bridge if i would have kept my car.. but TQ is decieving and I like it..

Actually you're wrong. The Mcclaren F1 does the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds flat. 0-60 in 3 sec. and top speed of over 200mph.

It has about 600hp/500tq and weighs 2,500lbs.

But regardless anthony NICE TIMES, grats to hit the 11's hope one day I can be there.
