i was told recently that with KA or SR w distributor( my SR has a dizzy) my ecu will compensate for the timing retard that I do physically. to the distributor?

is this true?

im planning on boosting my N/A SR. all sr stock stuff + apexi safc2it will be dyno tuned with a wideband.ive been told no to trust the afc. and ive been told the afc is ok for temp applications.which is what it will be for me.. a temporary patch. until i can afford a standalone.

does our ecu's compensate for retard in timing?

i also plan on going with a Nistune Setup but according to there website the app. for my motor is in the "works" being tested. so its not out yet.i was told that you could use any nistune board for any nissan ecu. you just have to pick the right motor..

so either i have been mislead or im completely wrong.either way im boosting with the neo as a patch until i can afford a standalone in about a month or so.

just needed some things cleared up

thanks for anyhelp you guys can give
