KA SOHC wont start

Hey guys i was checking my timing chain because i heard a noise coming from that area. I took the valve cover off and then i checked everything out and put the valve cover back on and then it was idling high. Then when i gave it gas it would kind of stutter and catch up with itself and respond fine. I went down the street and then it died when i went to start moving from a stop and now it wont start. Any ideas?

Sounds like something wasnt hooked back up properly. Possibly a vacuum hose?

i checked everything but i may have missed something. Ill have to check again.
