ka shifter on a rb

did i hear this wrong or am i just mistaken in thinking that a ka shifter will work with an rb transmission? just from fiddling around with it without actually trying to put it in, it seems like it wouldn't fit but i thought i remembered reading on a compadibility thread that it would work. thanks, -drew-

actually, the ka shifter will work with the RB25 but the B&M style short shifters will not. And you may or may not need the RB25 lower shift bushing, I'm not sure about that

Then what _will_ work for an RB25?

I try a kit of short shifter from ka into rb25 and looks like 2nd gear is tight, feels like the bottom of the shifter is touching the inside, if the bottom is shorten alittle more, it might works....never endup using it......

They show no items of such. Anywhere else that would sell them? got a part / model #?
