I'm looking at buying this 240sx that I found an add for in the papper... What I want to know is how dificult would it befor a compleat moron (carwise) to replace it's curently installed KA24DE with a SR20DET with out any real automotive tools?

---------------Quoted add:

1990 NISSAN 240SX HB black, 85K mi newer KA24DE MT, JVC CD plyr, PW, PDL, Vertex kit, KYB coilovers, 18'' ADRs, red Recaro-style seats, ready for SR20DET, email4pic #W124921 $4,500, CLEAN!!! S13 240SX black with Vertex-replica kit, 18'' ADR Cyphers, KYB adjustable coilovers, red Recaro-style seats, JVC AM/FM/CD Player, tinted windows, former SR20DET equipped but had a date with the State Referee so a newer 91-94 KA24DE was installed w/intake and dual-tip muffler, also includes 4 15'' stock rims/tires, SR20DET downpipe, SR20DET side-mount intercooler, and Walbro 255lph High Pressure fuel pump (already installed) - all it needs is the SR20DET

If you're a complete moron (your words not mine) and have no tools, I wouldn't even bother. Get to know the car, work on the KA. You might even fall in love with it. Doing an SR swap is not your only option.

Not hard but get to know your ride first. It's a worth while journey.
