KA REBUILD SHOPS

IM NEW AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY SHOPS THAT HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION OF BUILDING KA ENGINES AROUND THE SO CAL AREA AND IF SO WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE FOR THE BUILDS THANKS IN ADVANCE

Rebello Racing can make a 225+HP KA, they are located in Antioch Cali though....Roughly a little under 4000 for that kind of performance rebuild. Basic rebuild for about $2000.

good luck getting mckinney to do work on a KA. I live about 10 min from them. they are just seriously biased towards sr and rb. I asked them about building my sohc with a carb setup and they literally laughed at me.

needless to say I haven't been back since. They do make some quality stuff and they do know their $hit, just not very customer oriented, more worried about their rep IMHO.

Mckinney will work on DOHC KA's they don't want to waste there time with SOHC...... That isn't my opinion, I like KA SOHC and DOHC.......McKinney has a stigma against SOHC engines, I guess it could be a waste of what they think there time is......But to each there own that isn't the way to run a buisness, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAY'S RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
