KA rebuild...need all the help i can get

Alright so heres the deal....Im ready for KA-T. But my plans are to do a complete rebuild and have a strong healthy engine. So whats all the parts i need to do a full rebuild for my KA.? Whats the things i need to replace?

pistons, rings, rods, main bearings, rod bearings, valve job, valve seats, maybe valve springs, everything cleaned EVERYTHING, all new gaskets. oop gotta go back to work.

Sorry to thread jack but i'm doing the same thing minus the turbo set up i am however going to rebuild but i'm going to try to reuse my old rods and pistons if there is any thing anyone can tell me about the rebuild like something won't fit yadda yadda yadda i just want to know i think i'm going to try and make a tutorial if i can

You can certainly start by getting a complete gasket kit.

As for your rods and pistons, yeah sure nothing wrong with reusing them, but do change the piston rings. Seals should all be changed, and bearings, should be checked if not changed.

yeah i planned on the new rings and seals I wonder whats the best lubricant for rebuilding the engine i've heard everything from motor oil to di-electric grease
