i currently have a pretty much stock s14. it has the stock ka24de. i have a friend who can get me a rb20det and install it for about 2500- 3000 dollars. i dont know much about rb's. but i'm interested. i was wondering what you guys think about that. let me know. thanks

Hope your friend is smart and honest, of so, go for it. I've spent more then that doing it myself... above 4k on the engine etc alone now, just remember everything else needs to be updated as well fuel pump, exhaust all the goods. Read the stickies at the top o the forum and much will be revealed young jedi...

is 210 hp enough for you?If not and you're going to start chucking money at an rb20 (like I did) you're better off holding out for an rb26dett.

With the money I've spent massaging power out of a rb20, I could have bought an rb26 and had more power than I do now from the start. It is fun to drive though.

LoL it's truth . Might look cheap to step into but when you start to mod the money goes way up.

Go for the ka-t,Ull cry a couple of days less when u blow it...Plus its easier on the wallet and can haul its own...
