First I'd Like to say Hi my name is Travis and I'm a happy new owner of an S13. I used to have a twin turbo Z and now I'm sticking to Nissan and doing a CA18DET swap in the 240.

I've tried searching and can't seem to find my answer. Do most people use the KA radiator for there stock CA? Do the hoses line up? Or do I need to find a radiator for the CA18 or SR20?

welcome! yes, you can use a KA radiator. the hoses will all match up fine. you cannot use an SR radiator unless you use some sort of crossover hose. the inlet/outlet on a KA/CA/RB radiator are on the same side. on an SR radiator the inlet is on the drivers side and the outlet is on the passengers side.

K, Cool thanks. One less thing to buy to get this car on the road.

The 89-90 A/T radiator is slightly thicker if you are buying a replacement. I got an aftermarket OEM replacement that was 2 core for a decent price online (forget the site tho).

The only issue is some creative trimming of a KA24DE upper radiator hose. I got a hell of a deal on a KA Koyo dual core. I love it.

IIRC the KA rad is actually slightly thicker than the OEM CA18DET one.

Been running a KA rad for years w/o any overheating issues.
