Will a S13 block work in a 97 altima and can i use the altima head?

I have heard no it wont work, but it has been brought up before as the chain cover configuration is different.

No it will not work b/c the distributor is on the wrong side and a few other reason i can't remember but i know that it will not work.

He was saying just the block, the distributor wont ,mater as its in th head on the altima. He would have been swapping the front cover over too, but it seems to me something is different about the crank and oil gallies on the front of the block.
