Okay here is my situation, i just bought a 90 240 that has a ka24de motor in it. I bought it for a whopping 50 bucks because he said it had a blown motor which was still a great deal i think. But anyways, i checked the motor out and it had two spark plug wires blown out, not to mention it had some cheap wires, so i pulled the wires out and the plugs, and the plugs looked ok.Next i did a dry compression check and i got 0 across all the cylinders, but then i put some oil in and did the check again and got somewhere around 125 on all cylinders. So i got new wires and plugs and tried to crank it, but it just cranks and cranks and finally after a while of just cranking it finally starts! The car runs good but when i shut it of and leave it for a while it takes forever for it to start up again. So does anyone have any ideas on why it takes forever to start up?? Wat should i do to get this thing running right???

It still seems to me like ignition problems. I would check the ignition timing and for oil in the distributor's camshaft sensor.

the first thing u should do is reset your timing and have a look at that distributor. then if that doens't help then, since this is an ignition problem, check all the ignition components such as alternator, starter, solenoid, etc...
