Can I use existing KA propeller shaft and its rubber boot into SR transmission? Does it bolt right in? (Since the SR shaft was torch cut)

How do I remove this SR shaft? I tried pulling on it, but wont move abit. The FSM said I can just draw it and plug the hole up.

Thanks. So you're doing the swap as well... I did take the shifter out (the stick, wavy spring, 2 clips) but still not moving. Do I need to take the 2 big yellow bolts on the sides? I didn't take the rectangular cover (with 6 bolts) when I took the shifter out, I just undo the zipties and the metal clips.

The shifter shouldnt have anything to do with removing the driveshaft. Ive had several cases where the driveshaft was stuck in the transmission and I couldnt get it out by pulling on it by hand. What I did in these cases was to pry the driveshaft out with a big flathead screwdriver or prybar. This will damage the dust collar that is on there but since you are replacing it with the one from the KA, it shouldnt be an issue

Ok I'll try that... This thing stuck so hard that I have a string attached to it and the other end to my engine crane and lifted the whole transmission and it still wont move.... LOL. So the 2 big bolts on the side has nothing to do with it? Just wanna make sure. Thanks.
