ka problems with new rebuid

i rebuilt a ka motor with new piston and crank and all mew parts and it sounds like the guides are bad but there new it souned realy good at first got the rings to seat and i all the rattling sound from the front change one rocker taht was bad how can you tell if the rockers are bad.i got a stethoscope today to try to hear were it coming fromi thought it might be a bad tesioner i pulled it out and when i push on the piston oil came by the piston on the tensioner.or it could be the moly base grease for break in mede the oil to thick not sure at this point

I haven't had any problems with mine so far, but I have also never rebuilt the engine.

I know that you are supposed to bleed air out of the lifters before installing them by soaking them in oil or something like that. IDK the exact procedure, but it's in the above article.

I'm suprised you replaced the crankshaft, those are known for being bulletproof as they are made of forged steel. Was something wrong with it?
