alright, heres my problem...while im drivin my car, after its warmed up, when i put it into neutral to coast to a red light or something the rpms will drop all the way to practically 0 and sometimes it will stall out...i had a friend tell me its probably a vacuum leak...is this true and what are my steps to fix the problem...any info/advice is appreciated...thanks

I'd start by checking/cleaning the IACV. Search the board for more info.

I had this problem before. I find that it is one of 2 things. 1-Your air intake sensor is loose or you have removed it. 2-Vacuum leak from one of the 3 hoses connected above the throttle body.

definetly.. just make sure all of your vacuum hoses are connected to their sources. i was taking my IAV and its actuator off one day and i disconnected all three of the vacuum lines and it just stalled.

IAV, PAIR = PITA.
