hey guys..Im looking into buying a 240 and boosting it....have almost everything on hand anyways...I was into hondas now looking for something new...

what is the max power a ka24 stock sleeves can take..and how much power will the transmission take before it goes bye bye..i would really appriciate it if u guys would help..thanks..

Depends on the tune and the results from the compression test.

Search my friend... 1013 hp so far max out of ka..or maybe higher... transmission iirc about 450 hp with abuse...might go higher if gentle...

Just as an FYI the KA24 is not a sleeved block. It's an iron block and has no need for sleeves.

Yaa it seems around the 500hp mark most people start switching out the stock trans for something beefier like a z32 transmission.

yea cuz i have a honda on boost now..im making 501whp but now im going into the rear wheel drive and 240 is the car i want...im not to familliar with the car..im reaserching and looking for it at the same time to buy..but cant find it online..or better yet around the area...i already have a turbo that is laying around a prescion turbo..FMIC..tial BOV and 44mm WG and a EMS standalone

KA cyl walls are much stronger than B-Series, they spilt around 1000whp, for the very few that have made it that high.

Trans are happy until around 400whp, after that look for a Z32 trans

now im seeing that to boost a ka u might need to remove the AC..i have a T4 SC6165 in my closet..thats what im going to use..what manifold should i use..i can make one cuz i have a tig but i dont have the time right now to do it....

Do you know what your power goals are? Or the purpose of this project? If its a T4 flange then its gonna be customized. Two of the best mani out there for the KADE are fullrace and peakboost. I believe they can do custom T4 flange but the standard is T3. I'm surprise you're not getting flamed...maybe if you're on the honda forums. LOL
