The KA may have more torque, more displacement, but it's not an obvious answer. Try racing a Sentra SE-R sometime. It's funny how a 2.0L can walk away from a 2.4L. The SR has a flatter torque curve that comes on earlier and stays on longer than the KA. So in other words, we may have more torque available at 4000 rpm, but the SR has more area under the curve (relatively speaking).
