just curious if someone has useful information and insight or what can be expected to tuning a na ka. right now my 95 has a new rebuilt bottom end with a new head, has 2.5 inch BRM exhaust and a injen intake pipe. i recently met aguy who has been talking to me about tuning and future upgrades. i was planning on accumulating all the parts to one day go KA-T but after talking with him, has been decided to add a aem uego controller and wideband O2 for now (add all parts i can use before going turbo, basically going in the order that will allow me to use them till i get my turbo) ,he will do the tune and then in a few months upgrade fuel system with the ams kit (injectors, regulater, fuel pump etc) just wanted to know what kind of gains i can see with the little mods i have after a tune with the wide band, and what to expect after fuel system upgrade. if someone who has a KA NA that has been modded and tuned that would like to share their set up, i would really appreciate it.

You shouldn't expect much, at all. Increasing fuel won't help you without increasing air... Unless you're going with a high compression setup, you really can't expect much power out of it.

so a dialed in air fuel ratio wont make a dif? your basically saying nothing will make a difference unless i force more air. sorry just trying to figure out best solutions while staying NA. can thank the communist nazi regim that dictates emmision laws in cali

I understand what you're saying, but it really is hard to do anything with an N/A setup. If this tells you anything, my friend is building an 11:1 compression honda, and he's PRAYING for 200whp. The SRs do that STOCK with a T25. N/A just doesn't net you much in a 4 cylinder with stock internals.

It's really not worth the work he's going through to do it. He's doing it to prove he can do it, more than anything.. He's rebuilding the entire motor.... Obviously not what you're wanting to do... You can pick up a used SR T25 for around $100 if you keep your eyes open..
