Okay, so I am going to be pulling the KA24DE and the transmission from my wrecked 1996 240sx parts car to go into my 1995 with a blown motor... My question is is it possible to pull the motor and transmission as one piece (is there enough room?) The FSM states that you must remove the transmission first - and I was wondering if anyone has pulled the motor without removing the transmission...

I pulled my engine with the transmission still attached to it. But I have an S13. Though I'm pretty sure you could do it as well.

I did pull the motor with the transmission. You don't have to though, just it's a probably a little easier. But you don't have to, I've pulled my transmission before without taking out the engine.
