We're gonna need a little more details. Is it running rough? Idling poorly? Hard to start when cold? Hard to start when warm? Billowing black smoke on acceleration? Smell of gas coming from tailpipe or underhood? Did you change any parts recently (like new intake)? What do you mean it 'runs out of air'? Have you check your ECU codes? Help us help you out.

like i mean it runs out of air, and **** at high rpm, it like has trouble breathing.. but yeah my car its hard to start when cold, it takes 3 trys sometimes i gotta rev up while i start on a cold start, warm starts, no problem there. black smoke out the exhuast no. smell gas out the tail-pipe, no on that too, smell gas under the hood, yeah

parts i changed recently was clutch kitcold air intakeinstalled a high-flow cat, and welder a fat @$$ muffer on.

These problems i been having for months and at first i just throught well maybe ka24e's are like this becasue I used to have a KA24DE in my 240 but i went over to KA24E, so at first for a few months i just was thinking the motor was like that but then I'm like a few days ago.. NAHH can't be and there must be something I can do to get more air-flow and have the car running better and not have trouble breathing all the time at a high-rpm

Well, your compression is a little low... should be around 170-180ish. Are you shifting at the right times? Did it do this before you installed the muffler and intake? You may have accidentaly did something wrong when you installed the CAI.

You smell gas under the hood? I'd check for leaks in the fuel system.

i did the CAI right, i shift at 4 sometimes 5 grand, i dont' like to go any higher than that because i get scared of blwoing another rod or something.

and my compression is it too low for adding a turbo becasue those are my plans.

and yes it did it before i sintalled intake and exhuast.
