ka interchange

okay here's my question. i work for a junkyard and we just got in a 92 240 atuo with a ka in it. i have a 97 and i need a good head and block for a turbo build. The motor in the car has low miles but no compression wich is fine cause im going to rip it apart anyway. i just wanted to know if any 240 motor will work or dose it have to be from a s14. please get back to me.

i'm doing the exact opposite of you. i have a 95 with a 97 engine going in. the only thing is that the 97 is obd II and the 95 is obd I. the thing i have been told is that i have to switch the intake manifolds and it'll work since the bottom end is the same. i'm guessing you would have to do the same thing.
