KA high output offroad motor

Does the KA still come in the Frontiers? I was watching an offroad racing show and they had a segment on the new nissan offroad racers. It was a DOHC I-4 engine, valve cover looked kinda like the KA but it was covered up so I couldn't tell for sure. But the cool part was that he said the engine was putting out 300hp and 240ft/lbs of torque. Thats pretty cool if you ask me. Anyone know about this stuff?

that sounds more like a sr power figure then a ka, the ka is a torque monster

Just quoting what i heard on the show. Guy said they use the engine that comes in the frontier. all the mods i know is that it was carb'd/itb couldn't really tell.
