I am wanting to build a header for my 240sx, '91, and I have not had any luck finding header flanges for a KA24de. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have searched on here and on google with no luck

Thanks

No prob, I knew those bookmarks would come in handy one day, lol. I have a few questions though:

Are you making the header out of mild steel? What type of design are you using (4-1, 4-2-1)?What dimensions are you going to go with (primaries, collecters)?

Sorry for all the questions, I was just thinking of doing this aswell, and was wondering.

I was planning on 1 5/8" primaries into a 2 1/2", 4-1 collector... any thoughts?

O, and probably do a mock up in mild then do one in stainless... Mild should be fine on a practically stock KA so if the mild fits fine, I may just go with that. If I do a turbo manifold down the road, I will definitely go with stainless because of overheating issues people have run into with turbo setups.

Those sizes sound pretty good, how did you determine them? I've got a few header calculator pages that I'll post when I get to my other computer. I don't know how accurate they are, but they would be a good ballparkThe only thing that I would consider is a 4-2-1, since that is the most common design available. I have no idea how to figure that out though, lol.

I think I will use mild steel too, it's cheaper and easy to work with. If you wanted you could ceramic coat it and it would last forever too.

Where are you getting your materials?
