removing the clutch fan gives you some of the lost hp that you lose with the clutch fan being there..Guappone240 wrote:wait what..? how does that work....look kid you can get a clutch fan at a junk yard if they have one. if not fin an altima and run the electric fans off the altima to your car with a toggle switch or keep them on the whole time doesn't matter but your not going to see hp increase and or decrease.
bro..comon..this is a beginner thing...when the fan clutch is in its off freespin state everything is cool...but when it suddenly hits its temp ..it actually sends a harmonic shudder throuout the engine..it allso lashes the belt and applys pressure to the bearings inside the water pump and a minor tug on the crank..all in a flash of an eye.....do that 1 million times over time and see what damage that does!...have you ever seen a racecar with a stock fan!..no!..for good reason...the drag created by the liquid solution in the clutch+ the actuall drag throu the wind of the fan..is an emence horsepower robber..free your self bro..unleash the extra 5 to 8 hp hidoing in your stock ride..as a matter of fact..go green..loose the fan and get better gas mileage!..lol...less drag on the engine = better performance..anyways you look at it..Guappone240 wrote:how do you lose hp on a clutch fan. who have you been talking to. these things com stock on the car when the do hp test and are included in the final results. wtf are you talking about.
