I've had my KA-E for almost 3 or 4 years now and I've recently replaced my Radiator because every time i flush it out to clean it and replace coolant in it, it'll get dirty again. When i say dirty, its like DIRT, RED DIRT, looks almost clay like. I thought it was rust at first, but then after looking at it.. it looks JUST LIKE DIRT! After I bought the new radiator and replaced the old one, i flushed the car out and the anti-freeze seemed to stay "GREEN" for about a month. But recently, I checked again... and WAT DO YOU KNOW......... ITS DIRTY AS HELL AGAIN!!! I'm lost here and ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks.

that's probably residual, tear down and rebuild is what i say, or keep flushin till its completely clean. have u tried flushing the engine? could be where the problem lies.

yeah, u could. just be sure to ask them to put the old coolant in a container so that you could 'dispose' of it properly. that way u know they took it out instead of just chargin you for it.

Thanks man. That helps alot.

But, when I bought the new radiator i kept hosing down the radiator once it was on because i also thought it would help. Eventually the water turned clear and i did this for i dont know how long, but it was LONG. Then after the water came out clear from the radiator, i poured in new anti-freeze. But it still turned brown and crappy. I guess the best thing to do now is probably to tear it down and rebuild like you said

Thanks again. Much appreciated
