ok for a while now my left headlight pops up but doent come on , it used to be you could jiggle the switch a bit and it would come on, however it would only be on low beam, and the right side only on high beam. someone told me to take that switch off and clean the five copper fingers in there and it will work again for a while. some of mine in there are a purplish blue, like they have been burned, can n e one tell me where to get a new one, or rebuilt one. in my city there are no 240's in the junkyards here. could i use one from another car and just swap the connectors out?????

check your positive connection at your battery. On your positive terminal there are two plugs, green and black I think. make sure they're not corroded or loose. I had a similar problem with my headlights not working and it was because these plugs were not making contact.

Good luck finding a fix!

(electrical problems = the suck)
