KA Distributor not spinning.

Can anyone help me? I just rebuilt this KA24DE in my 1996 240sx. Now when i install the distributor it does not spin when cranking the car, thus rendering me without a running engine. Check these photos... Everything is lined up properly, nut the distributor gear and the dual chain timing gear is not meshing properly.

did you get the head cut?(due to warpage), if so did you also get the front cover cut?(if not, the head gasket could raise the front cover just enough to make the distributor not touch the gear that moves it), if you didn't get the front cover cut, then either get it cut, or cut the headgasket where the cover goes and apply black rtv.

if nether, then the distributor shaft broke.
