my s14 threw up both of these codes at the same time.. a couple days after purchasing the car so im guessing the PO reset the cel... the PO400 for EGR valve and PO325 for Knock Sensor Bank 1
after doing a little research it seems like the EGR valve failing will cause knock, hence the PO325

how can i get these to go away? do they cause serious problems?

I own an infiniti Q45, my car pulled up both those codes. I found a rubber hose that connects my EGR valve to the EGR-BPT.

Use the website above. It will list every nissan/infiniti model. Look for the EC (Engine Control) file for your car and you can look up how to fix each one of these codes.

The PO400 code on my car was tripping because of a 1" piece of rubber hose. It took me about an hour to replace and maybe $.20. Good luck.

Ya p0400 I think is an insufficient flow code. Look for a hole rotted away or blocked passages in tge intake or exhaust . What year is it. I can look up the most popular confirmed fix on our online repair system tomorrow at work.
