I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me what exactly has to be done to fit a ka clutch on a ca18det. I know there is something you have to do with one of the pins on the flywheel but im not exactly sure what. Any info would be apprieciated.

type "clutch" into the search box and select the CA forum as the forum to search in. Make sure you look in both recent and archived posts. Good luck.

You have to remove one of the pins on the ca flywheel in order for the ka pressure plate to line up and fit. Some people pull it out and some others just cut it off. Place the ka pressure plate on top of the ca flywheel, line up the pressure plate so that 2 of the pins fit, and the 3rd one that doesnt fit anywhere on the ka pressure plate is the one you get rid of. Hope this helps.

lol sorry. I was in a good mood tonight so I figured I would help. Weird though I thought I was the 2nd post on this thread, I must've been typing up the explaination when you already posted. But your right, people need to learn how to use the search button. So no more freebies.

rinkya is so overpriced it doesnt make it worth it, especially for sumthin like a clutch. 60$ in goods will cost you 200$ in the end.

How can you purchase on Yahoo Japan anyway? Do you have to set up a account with yen in it or something?

Yup you have to setup up an account and use either a credit card or cash deposit. I think the amount you can bid is set to 5x what your deposit is. "correct me if I'm wrong"

Ah-ha! Credit cards have limits on how much you can convert into another country's currency though. It happened to me once in Canada and life sucked for about 2 days...

rinkya is basically a service that bids, and ships you stuff you want from yahoo auction japan. they are a US company, you make a deposit to rinkya and they allow you to bid upto 2x or 5x what your deposit was on yahoo auction, if you win, you pay for the auction, for the shipping to rinkya japan, then you pay rinkya's fee(persentage of total auction price) then you pay shipping from japan to the US. its nice for small stuff cuz they have certain deals for certain kinds of stuff like prints. but for car parts, its redicluous price.
