ka auto transmission help! :(

So i was driving to walmart on my daily driver s14 ka/auto transmission. i do punch it sometimes when i know i shouldn't. well... Ive been noticing this loss of power i dont know if its my engine or my transmission. I'm driving around 50mph going down the road when all of a sudden there's this one second where there's a complete loss of power as if there was something wrong with my transmission. well i came to a stop put it in neutral and it did the same thing. its like there's a loss of gas and the engine wants to shut down but its only for second. Next thing you know, its running fine like nothings wrong. What can it be?? Any help would really be appreciated. It sucks knowing its also my daily driver and somethings wrong. thanks!
