ok me and my girlfriend wen to vegas on the long weekend, i was not planning to take my car cus i thought it wouldn't make it there cuz of alll the miles it has plus being turboed and also that is was too hot over at vegas , my car has A/C and i wanted to go all the way with A/C but was scared that it was goin to overheat.

so my girlfriend was like ," yea your car will make it " s,o i went of whats she said and risked it , it is 250 miles to get there so its like 3 to 4 hours of driving, so on the way ,it was like 100 to like maybe 110deg and my car wasn't overheating and i had my A/C on, there were a few cars that i raced , one was a old school 5.0 mustang (like a 87 to 89 maybe) , a 240sx(92 rps13) with a sr and S6 audi which was hella nice and fast too , so i made it to vegas ,and i was happy that my car made it with no problems or boost leaks . and on the way back home had no problems and the temp was like 105 to 115 deg and had A/C on feels good with A/C and being turboed still pulls good

my car had 214k miles on it like 1 year ago now it has 260 miles and still running strong i think KA24 are really strong engines

Very durable engine...

We did a compression test on one that we installed this weekend, with over 150K on it.

180 on ALL FOUR cylinders. Double-checked just to make sure, and same result. Very impressive.

Ah, ok. I thought I was crazy or I did something wrong, because I got 153 on ALL FOUR cylinders, but I never had a shop do it again.

KA are strong motors when maintained. I had a KA24DE with 190K+ with very good compression that I still have. I have 144K when I turboed my KA24DE last year and still good compression. I also have A/C and its great.

yeah KA's are durable, when i bought my car it had 180k miles on it(93) and it was still running(tho the engine needed replacement cause the previous owner was a......i mean he didn't think about changing the oil every 3k miles i guess).

probably more durable than the honda's or other.

THe reliability of a good NA KA goes without saying. I think the real credit goes to you and piecing together a proper turbo kit for your ka-t. props.

I've had it overheat twice, I ran it for 2 weeks w only 3 pistons (*crappy injector), and at 180k miles, I still had 169-174 compression on all 4 last week.
