So i got my AC compressor bolted on last night, and it lines up with the other pulleys but the AC compressor is at a slight angle, tilted back with the bottom of the pulley out and the top leaning back. maybe 8-10° off center.

The belt fits well but has to rotate slightly for the a/c compressor. Does anyone have any experience with their belt getting chewed from this setup?

I'm using my ka ac compressor and I have no problems at all. Got any pics? I'm having trouble undertsanding how you put it on.

I was able to line up 3 holes and made a bracket for the fourth and just spaced it out a little with some washers. Nothing rubs at all.

here we are...

It's on with the top 2 bolts. I'm pretty certain a third will line up underneath but not like the third bolt will help... I havent looked but I need to jack up the car this evening need to install the starter so i'll check anyway. Maybe i can slot a couple of the mounting points on the compressor. I'll probably just get the R12 evacuated and have a shop hook up the KA hoses to the SR compressor later and charge it myself with 134.

like im going to need air conditioning any time soon here in the northeast anyway.

I had the same problem with my hatch. It never lined up right. When I totaled my hatch I put the motor in my vert and the angle stopped. The moral of the story is try another compressor, thats what my problem was.

When did they change from R12 ro R134? maybe your 94 vert has the 134 specific pump
