AEM intake with HKS foam filterPacesetter 4-1 header2.5 inch test pipeblitz nur spec R exhaust 3 inchunorthodox racing crankshaft pulley91 cams C's short shifterfront strut barrear strut barrear lower tie barkyb struts with eibach sportlinesremoved rear seatstripped trunk (no spare)closed AIV and egr openings to the header

does anyone have a rough estimate what i should be running? any feedback would be great, thanks!

Low 15s @ 90-91mph.

Even with a stripped trunk and such, you're probably still at around ~2750-2800lbs...and somewhere in the 150rwhp range.

Years ago I ran ~15.2's consistently with ~92mph trap speeds.

My car was a tad heavier than yours (small stereo system in it back then), but not by much. And I was making ~160rwhp (plus the JWT ECU w/ 7200rpm rev limit, which allows you to cross the traps still in 3rd gear, which is advantageous for drag racing).

some of my friends said i could break into 14s if i had a GOOD launch, well i guess low 15s would be good enough until i get my SR :-/ What if i were to change my cam configuration around? you think that would help? (240-248, 232-248, 248-232, 248-240...etc)

my experience with pacesetter headers is that they are highly restrictive and often flow worse than stock:( maybe thats something to consider.

The 240 248 cam set up is the best by far. It scavanges the exhast gas out of the chambers way better than the others. The JWT cams are nice for top end but your lowend will suffer. Believe me I tried. Low 15's sounds about right. Might be less if there is a pro driver involved.

If I may butt in for a second. I have a 1992 S13 5spd Fastback bonestock. From SunnyS14's results, if I were to do a 1/4 mile I would probably range from upper 15's to low 17's? I am giving a large range to account for the possibility that my car is in poorer shape than Sunny's, the difference in climate, and the definite possibility he is more skilled at it than me (never drag raced before).

a bone stock s13 240 (91-93) should be able to hit high 15s with a good driver. ive seen them hit 15.8-16.7 sec 1/4 mile. it all depends on the launch!

i have a 92 s13. with just an intake and a exhaust i hit a 15.8 on a very hot and humid day. here was my basic setup on my car:

relocated intake(were the battery was) 3 inch invidia catback.( on a n/a? i know) but it helps. slipping clutch(stock since 92) 17 inch rims (with non sticky tires some cheap brand.."nankang")

ive added : obx header magnecor wires blaster 2 coil act 4 puck clutch front and rear strut bar..... all these parts that ive added i haven got a chance to see if theres a difference in time( next drag event on guam is in jan.) but i felt a change in performance. ill post up my times when i hit the tracks!

15.5 with just intake is pretty damn good. but you dont think a KA can break 14s adding headers, exhaust, pulley and cams? thats just 1/2 a second away. i wish the track was open so i can try!
