Here are pics of the turbo's, it is a k26 compared with a t3 off of a z31 with .63 A/R exhaust housing and I believe the compressor is .60 A/r with the 60 trim compressor wheel.(correct me if Im wrong on these specs please)

The exhaust housing on the k26 is a .55 A/R with a intergral adjustable wastegate. Kinda cool.

here are the compressor housings:

Starting from left to right:k26 with integrated recirculating bov, A/R seems to be about the same as the t3

k26 housing, seems to have the biggest A/R out of the 3

t3 from a z31

Awesome work, fo0manchu. So it looks like the K26 might provide a little more flow? Which car comes with the K26?

the k27 is a large turbo charger, i believe its about the same size as the t4.

I found this k26 on a mercedez 300d, but i think that this isn't the original turbo that came with the car because ive seen a lot of other 300d's and they come with a t3 or smaller k26. But the k26 that you would want to run with the larger compressor housing A/R is out of a audi 5000 turbo. I believe they are years 89-91? Not completely sure on that though.

Theres a lot of k24's out there which are way to small and found on a lot of the euro cars, like the vw, saabs and other audi's

As far as flow, I have no clue because both turbo's are designed different, from the shapes of their turbine housings down to how their fins are designed. Only way to know is to test them out on the ka! fun!
