I have a 90' 240sx. I bought new ones to replace the old leaky ones with. BUT, there is a difference between the old and new.At the tip of the old ones, they look to have a ceramic piece sirrounding the nozzle. The new injectors do not. THis seems odd...DOes anyone know if this will affect running of the car or performance?

THanks

I found some information on the web about them. The piece I'm referring to is the PINTLE cover. It seeme to be made of ceramic and there is a small hole which the fuel spray exits. I'm not sure if this is really anything that would affect performance or gas mileage, but I'm going to find out ......Oh , one thing it does do is center the square seal between the injector and the intake
