Just did a buddies m35 for air suspension..

Everything went pretty good. here are the pics..

Began stripping everything off the car in the engine bay
Image

Front suspension completed
Image

Rear suspension completed. Later on had to tweak the rideheight slightly by adjusting shock
Image

Rear interior was removed to allow for easy routing of power and acc wires
Image

Ksport control box placement was a pain as it is pretty tall and the rear trunk would need to be raised
Image

Cardboard templates were made to ensure proper fit of new floor
Image

Work beginning on cutting out template with mdf
Image

making sure everything is straight
Image

my work area outdoors..
Image

we picked up some 90 degree street unions cause running the output of the compressor to tank would not fit with the tight clearances
Image

Shot of everything mocked up
Image

The wrapping of suede has commenced
Image

Blurry but shows wiring completed with main floor completed and everything was tested at this time.
Image

Wiring is cleaned up
Image

More suede wrapping in the late hours
Image

End result for front suspension at max height
Image

Front suspension at max low
Image

Rear suspension at max high (this is as high as it goes due to limited stroke in shorter body coilover
Image

rear suspension at full low
Image

here is a shot of the k-sport remote allowing you to control height outside of car
Image

and as my reward!!!!
Image

gotta love prime rib
Image

All done =)
Image

The next day we made some rideheight and shock damping changes, luckily all done before it started w the torrential downpour

Nice write-up / install.

compared to the Accu-Air, how much do these setup's run?

it was a friday night and saturday with sunday tweaking for a lil.

the majority of the time is actually just making the trunk. if you didnt care about asthetics you could prob get it all done within a day. accu-air does not come w/ any bags/shocks so pricing isnt the same structure

the red/black box houses all the electronics / wireless receiver / valves... its pretty much an all in one setup just plug in your hoses and wire up power / grnd / accessory and you are pretty much set.

The small remote controls preset ride heights and individual corners and all 4...

since this was the 6 or 7th car.. it wasnt hard at all. honestly shouldnt take more than a weekend and that is making sure wiring is clean and creating a new trunk. It really varies depending on what kit you go w/..... if you do e-level then it takes longer cause you need to drill tap front LCA and either drill/tap rear or create a new bracket to house the sensor.
