However, convicted child molesters do not have a good time in jail, so you might not last 25 years. Criminals behind bars will specifically find ways to make child molesters and rapists have a living hell while there.

If you're studying law, you know that due process is the most meticulous thing in the known universe. there's so many times along the way that the opposing force can screw up and that's when you take them on.

Rights, due process, "beyond a reasonable doubt" all come into play here. The problem is it being so difficult to predict what a jury will do. In a case like this, the jury will want to convict SOMEONE. In their minds the justice of the victim outweighs the justice of the wrongly accused.

I'd waive my 7th Amendment rights, and fight for a bench trial, especially if my story was airtight. (Not that the DA would go for it though...too many issues of fact)
