Hi, I am in the market for an intake for my 2.5s coupe...I dont know much about this and I was wondering if you have to chage the filter like you do with the stock one?

i believe the filters on most, if not all, aftermarket intakes have permanent filters that you just take out and clean bein as that they're like $50+

K&N makes really high quality intake filters whether its for a short ram air or a stock filter. They have great airflow at the same time as filtering the air going in. I personally have an Injen intake on mine and it works great, id say they are at least on par with K&N quality.

Other companys filters will filter the air but can have restricted airflow.

And K&N only offers one intake for each engine for our A/C's

all the intakes on the market for the 2.5's are pretty much gonna give you the same results. if your looking to buy an intake you might as well make your decision by price and looks. i personally have the k&n intake partly because it looks great and it uses the air vent and gives a real clean look in the bay.

i have the k&n too. i bought mine during a groupbuy so i saved a bunch. even though it is a bit pricey, its worth it in my opinion. the sound is great. quite unnoticible on low rpms, and very noticible during high rpms. quicker response imo too.
