if you have the 2.5 id say go for the K&N. i actually have my K&N for sale for $250 + shipping if you want it. it only has like 100 miles of use on it. theres nothing wrong with it, i bought it then decided i wanted an exhaust system instead, so im selling it. I even still have the original box and everything that came with it.....stickers and all....lol. email me if you want it.

if you have the 2.5 get the K&N and thats a pretty good deal from bina. If you have the 3.5 you will haft to wait about a month for an honest opinion because it isnt out yet. But a few people on hear including my self should be getting the first ones since we proto typed them

i bought a Fujita F5 intake for my 2.5S auto off of ebay for $160. It sounds great and gave me a little bit more power. Not so so noticeable but I see everyone loves the K&N.

The K&N should have slightly better performance because of the air box, but I have heard the Injen sounds better. So it all depends on what you are going for. I would say Buy Bina's intake if you want to save some money. But it is up to you.

I personally love my Injen intake, i like that the K&N has the airbox but my injen has an awesome sound. It roars when i'm cutting through traffic but growls when i'm driving normally. Here are some pics of mine

I wouldn't worry about performance, you might get 1 hp if lucky, just get the one you think looks the best, I'm told the sound is similar between the two.

i dont see a group buy running for it anymore. and yea it was $1 cheaper and it included shipping. so basically with my price the only thing that makes it more expensive than the group buy is the shipping cost. Its still $100 cheaper than buying it new, and this one is barely used, so i would consider THAT a good deal.

I don't know if the Injen Short Ram is the same for the 2.5 as it is for the 3.5, but I have a 3.5 CVT and I'm selling my Injen. It's black and in perfect condition. I'll sell it for $150 plus shipping.

I agree with Bina. The K&N is waaaaay overpriced for what it does. The stock Nissan airbox is incredibly well designed so any gains from an intake are negligible anyway...why pay well over $100 more for a thin plastic tube that may or may not help? That being said, if K&N really has you believing in that extra piece of plastic then $250 is a really good price.

When I was looking for an intake, I was was going for looks...the site that I got my Fujita from powdercoated mine in a black crinkle finish.

As for the sound, I doubt there will be much difference seeing as the design of the pipes are pretty much identical!!!.

Just buy bina's and be done with it. It's a helluva good price and it's doubtful you'll find it that good anytime soon.

@ JoeIntakes for the 3.5 WILL NOT fit the 2.5...the mounting points in the engine bay are completely different.

Cool, thanks for the info

I also agree, the stock Nissan intake is very good. IMHO, spend $40 and get a drop in K&N.

First, I bought new AEM intake for a month ago. I want to get rid of my old intake (Fujita). Honestly, If you looking for performance, go w/ AEM. If you want better sound then Fujita is your best choice.

Well, to be honest the intakes really don't add any noticeable performance although people will tell you their "butt dyno says so" yeah right, your "butt dyno" wouldn't notice 10hp letalone 1hp... anyway either people are tired of the noise or are taking the car in for service or are selling or simply want the money for other things on their car, these seem to be the reasons for selling...

its all about what you like, the look, the sound, cool do it, (I hav a k&n typhoon kit on my Z and a intake on my Titan)...but don't give that butt dyno crap.
