K&N intake for 3.5?

Well, I've done a lot of searching for development pictures for the 2007-2008 Altima 3.5 K&N intake but have found nothing. Usually development pictures leak out, like the 2.5 engine shots. Really liking the AEM but the air box looks cheap and I'm really in favor of something other than metal as far as heat soaking. I hate settling for anything when all I need to do is show a little patience. It's the reason I haven't broke down and bought the Stillen fascia, waiting to see what Nismo does with their lip kit not to mention their intake.

Just wondering if any 3.5er on here have been fitted for development from K&N, even better pictures…. Thanks for dealing with yet another intake post.

I may be mistaken but looking at the engine cover and where it's pulling in air, it looks like that's the 2.5 engine. Good looking out for the future pictures. Thanks for the updates guys.

That is the 2.5 However, it will look just like that on the 3.5 too

I'm dropping my car off at K&N in two weeks because I need to break in my car. Hopefully after me they will finish their testing and release the damn thing

give it a bit more time, i say close to 1 month, Kirk told me that they are into 6-8 weeks of the process when i picked my car up today.

no, he will get his intake in about a month. I believe they are test fitting the kit they did for his car on mine right now. They arnt going to give us our intakes untill they go into production. They still need the proto type to model the production intakes after.

It was a bit delayed because of Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays but should pick up soon in January.

They are waiting on their tubing for the intakes to come in. They said around this upcoming Wednesday or Thursday. I'll keep you guys updated.
