K&N Intake for 3.5 coming soon

Ok, almost 5 months later. I called K&N today about the intake I proto typed for them. They told me that they should have my intake in about a week, and they are going to put a rush order on it and get me in there to have it installed. I know a few of you also proto typed this part, so you may want to hit them up. If all goes well, I should have the new K&N intake system on my ride with in the next two weeks. I will let you guys know how it is and when they plan on releasing the production models.

any idea or pics on how it looks? is it like the AEM one or like all the others (stillen, fujita, injen, etc)?

whats taking them so long? 6 months ago they had your car....it should have been done 2-3 months ago with the workforce and money they have.

It's all due to the economy, their priorities, and the manufactures that make their materials. Greddy's TiC exhausts took around 6 months until they released their application for our cars. It will come out that's all what matters!

So is this "True" cold air intake? or just another hot air one?

it may be a little closer to cold but it will not be a tru cold air intake.

weak...guess i wont be getting one, and after all that development time just to make anther hot air intake with a 3 sided plastic box.
