I just intsalled an K & N FIPK KIt last night on my 2003 Pathfinder and now when I start it up any time I accelerate quickly or go over 2500 RPM the enging cuts out. I checked all the connections and the MAF sensor but every thing looks good. ANY IDEAS PLEASE?

No SES light? Make sure the SES bulb works by engaging the parking brake then turning the ignition to the ON position and looking for the light.

I assume you weren't having these acceleration issues before you installed the K&N? Sounds like a stupid question, but I just want to be sure.

sometimes the ECU needs to be reflashed because the truck is now sucking in more air than normal and the A/F ratio is off. usually, it's accompanied by an SES light, but give it a reflash and see how that goes.

lol the guy who mentioned reflashing ecu;s doesnt know what hes talking about, you should never need a reflash if your just throwing on a cai.
