I went to my local Auto Zone today to purchase a K&N filter for my 1989 240sx, and THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE!!! Where did you guy's get your K&N's (if you have K&N's), I don't want to get it over the 'net if I don't have to, because I'm too cheap to pay shipping, but I will if I have to. :rolleyez

Got mine at Autozone. Your Autozone must suck. Maybe they didn't have room for them anymore after they got the new shipment of windshield washer lights and GSR stickers in. :D

When you buy over the net you don't pay tax, well as long as the business isn't located in your state. So when you pay shipping you're basicly paying the same if you go to a store and buy it with tax. I'm not saying that shipping takes the place of tax, that's pretty obvious it doesn't. I'm just saying that in the end it all balances out the same. :)

it'll probably be cheaper with shipping and without tax because you can always find a hella deal on the net

As earlier stated, I'm too lazy to pay extra, so I broke down and bought a flat filter, instead of the cone I wanted. DAMN!! Now she sounds so much deeper, and the throttle has a noticeabely faster response. :boink
