K&N filters
K&N filters
Has anyone put a drop in K&N filter into their G35 coupe. If so did it make a difference in sound and or performance? also i heard something about the filters being bad for the MAF because of the oil that they use is this true?And one last question i just bought an 04 G35 Coupe with 41000 miles on it should the car still be under factory warranty? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

yes your car is still under warranty... it's a 3 year 60k

I put one in our sedan. Didn't really notice any difference and the gas mileage went down. They have given me a little better mileage with other vehicles.So, I stuck it in my daughters G20. Thought it might give hers a little more performance.If you're looking to spend a little money for added performance, search the board a little more. Check the comments on the pop charger/z tube in combo with the plenum spacer. If I were going to add something, I would save up my $$$ and do this.Good Luck!

I changed my mind with the drop in filter and went with the K&N Typhoon Air Intake. has anyone tried that one yet? i thought it came with a 4yr 60k warranty not 3yr
