Hi i recently purchased an intake adapter a K&N cone air filter and i was able to put it on. BUT!!! as soon as i started the car, i noticed that the idle was pretty rough and it was not responsive. While taking off the stock airbox, there was a hose and a lil wire coming from the MAF connected to the airbox. BUt now that the airbox was removied, its connected to nothing which is most likely why im having these problems right? So what do i do with these 2 things (hose & lil wire) ??

r u talking about the wires connected to the MAF? the hose shouldn't matter...put a breather on it or something

well theres wires that connect to the actual MAF, and theres another set of wires that come from the MAF that connect to the airbox.... its this little tiny thing with im assuming its some kind of sensor, and its bolted on by 2 lil screws..

Its an Air Intake Temp sensor. Just drill a hole somewhere in the stock plastic turbing after the filter and screw the sensor back in.

ditto what Nismo1182 said. I did the same thing plus the thing in this pic that has the blue shop towel piece on, I got an air breather thing from Canadian Tire for like 2 bucks and plugged in on there.
